SCOOL CHOICE: WHAT ARE YOUR OPTION?

Summary.

How much choice do you really have? It depends on your local scool district as well as your state`s policies on school tramsfer.
Scool choice options available to parents have aincresend dramatically en recent years. there is growing national sentiment that promoting competition in public education may spur scholl to improve and that parents who invest energy in choossing a school will continue to be involved in their children education.
The amount of choice varies from one school district to another, and varies from state to state. Each public distric sets up its own rules and boundaries for each scoll in the district. One of the most significant changes in public education in recent years has been the growth of the charter scool movement. Charter school enrollment is voluntary and is not governed by neighborhood boundaries, which means your child can choose to attend any charter school within your district, or out side your district, so long as there is space available.
Alternative school these are generally school whose educational philosophies are defferent from traditional programs.
Private school are school that do not receive funfing from the stete. They set up their own criteria for admission. Families of the students pay tuition or, some cases, students receive scholarship to attend.

Reflection.

I think in the little shool the professor put more attencion than the big school because are a few children. The public school is good and are near to the home, maybe, not always, but always yes, and the children get tired to be traveling and often they do not want to study. The student can choose they want to study, but for them its difficult because sometimes they mant to study in another school, and their parents can not. I desagree whit the Alternative School because should be the same program for the children. The most importante topic is the student in the any way the student to read and write. An advantage of the school that any student can study witout concerning his economic condition. In many cases the student receive sholarship so that they can any way continue studying and that they do not feel incapable.
